Remedial Alone Training

My little angel has been needing some reminders on being alone.

In the past, he's been fine for up to an hour and a half with no complaints.  But last week, my dad stayed home for about a week, and our daily practice greatly diminished.  So, while we're not back to square one (he can still handle being alone while I shower, and for at least 15 minutes at a time) we need to build up our time yet AGAIN. *sighs*

At least he's cute.

He's very cute with that giraffe! I haven't left Zephyr home alone without Astro since he's been sick. I'm a little worried about how that's going to go. It used to be no problem as long as he saw us drive off and not just go for a walk. They both hate when they see me taking the other for a walk and leaving the other behind. This week I think I might take Astro out for a short drive and see how it goes.

Aww...well I'm glad he's feeling better! That's too funny about the walk thing. Admittedly, I'd love to get Ferguson a brother or sister, but it's just not much in the budget right now :/. I would assume he'd do better with another dog (a dog he considers a dog...my parent's Westie apparently doesn't count) to keep him company, but he'll just have to make due for now. He's been able to do it before, so I have faith in him!

At least Astro and Zephyr have each other!
